Today my first-ever official Train Shots interview is up at Laura Maylene Walter’s blog. If you don’t know Laura’s writing, you should: she’s the author of the award-winning story collection Living Arrangements, and on more than one occasion, has contributed wise words about the literary life at Poets & Writers. Laura and I met and became fast friends at the 2012 Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference, where we both took part in Lan Samantha Chang’s fiction workshop and shared many a meal and beer together in between. I couldn’t be happier for the chance to chat with her in the virtual realm about writing, and more grateful, since she’s currently a busy MFA student at Bowling Green State, teaching and toiling on her own fabulous stories.
