Last week Tin House featured an essay of mine on their blog about my obsession with horse stories as a young reader, and their lasting influence on my evolution as a fiction writer. This is a subject I’ve been ruminating on for awhile, ever since I attended the Banff Writing Studio earlier this year and went on two fabulous trail rides that I’ll never forget.
